Managed Futures

The recent performance of US equity markets has led many investors, both large and small, to seriously consider utilizing alternative investments in their portfolios. Studies have shown that commodity futures and Managed Futures have the potential to increase overall portfolio performance while simultaneously decreasing overall risk.

Over the past five years, investments in Managed Futures have increased from $41.3 billion to $130.9 billion. Alpari Futures recognizes that investors are seeking portfolio managers that they can trust to efficiently and responsibly manage their assets.

Alpari Futures builds alternative investment portfolios based upon specific client needs and objectives. The primary target is consistent positive annualized returns and a profit-to-loss ratio above 3:1. Secondary targets include reduced correlations with the client’s existing traditional portfolio, the use of highly liquid markets, and the diversification across multiple Commodity Trading Advisors (CTAs) as well as market sectors. All of this is done through the identification and analysis of managed futures programs with regards to historical track records, trading strategies, targeted sectors, forecasted long-term performance, and a multiplicity of other factors.

Alpari Futures concentrates funding opportunities within alternative investments, a rapidly growing and diverse field that may be new to many investors. Clients can intelligently diversify their investment portfolios with the experienced research team at Alpari Futures who seek out, analyze, and evaluate the disciplines of professional money managers that have had high-quality performance, viable long-term strategies, and investment potential. Our active management takes place on three levels:

  1. Identify – With over 800 professional CTA’s in the marketplace, our staff identifies, evaluates and communicates with those who have historically had top performance.
  2. Analyze – Alpari Futures recognizes that each investor has specific needs and objectives. We seek to build portfolios based on risk tolerance, market exposure, strategy diversification and many other variables.
  3. Diversify – Our portfolio managers constantly revaluate our investor’s portfolios and dynamically diversify assets across multiple money mangers. We diversify according to portfolio performance and investment targets
